The TGM Beamline Group is responsible for managing and operating the TGM Beamline dedicated to Ultraviolet Spectroscopy techniques in the current UVX synchrotron light source of the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS).
The team of researchers and technicians are responsible for assembling the instrumentation necessary for performing the experiments. They are responsible for advising users in the operation of the equipment, collection of data and processing of the data obtained in the TGM beamline.
The TGM team is also involved with the development of the setup for optical measurements (X-ray Excited Optical Luminescence – XEOL) at the Carnaúba beamline of the new Brazilian Synchrotron Light Source, Sirius. At Carnaúba, an X-ray nanoprobe will allow the characterization of materials with unprecedented detail, advancing, among other fields, the development of semiconductors and photonic devices in nanometric scales.
