The Beamline Controls and Integration group of the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS) works to define actuators, sensors and controllers that give life to the countless components of a beamline, from the insertion element that generates radiation to the experimental systems, including front-ends, mirrors, monochromators and slits.
The group develops embedded codes for different types of motion control, data acquisition and processing, timing and machine vision systems. In addition, the group works with design and implementation of control algorithms, validation tests, installations and commissioning.
