The Beamline Automation group of the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS), in addition to supporting the operation of the beamlines, is responsible for: common and uninterrupted energy supply and distribution; design and electronic assemblies embedded in the components of the beamlines; cabling in general; network infrastructure; installation of motion control equipment, signal acquisition and vacuum; automation systems for personal and equipment protection; and robotic systems.
