The Beamline Mechatronics and Assembly group is responsible for planning and executing the processes for receiving materials, pre-assembly, validation and installation of typical components in the beamlines of the Sirius synchrotron light source, at the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS).

In addition, the group is also responsible for supporting the prototyping and assembly activities of the Beamline Design group and maintaining the facilities of the Metrology Building, which houses a set of clean rooms for assembly, and mechanical and optical metrology.
