Experimental Systems

MARÉ is part of the Beamline Engineering Division at Sirius, and its main scope is to design high-performance and/or high-complexity scientific instrumentation systems, requiring a systemic vision, predictive modeling, and precision engineering principles. The projects developed may include demands such as nanopositioning, optimization of thermal management, optics, vacuum, cryogenics, high temperatures, pressures, and magnetic fields, as well as advanced automation and control topics, including those related to biocontainment and decontamination systems.

This is a highly multidisciplinary group, composed of technicians, specialists, engineers, and analysts from diverse backgrounds, integrating systems engineering tools, multiphysics modeling, 3D design, and mathematical models to provide engineering services throughout the entire life cycle of experimental system projects for the beamlines of Sirius and Orion.
