The 2nd edition of the international event PALSA (Pan American Light Sources for Agriculture) will take place from April 14 to 16, 2021, which will focus on the investigation of dynamic processes in agriculture using synchrotron light. PALSA 2021 will have lectures, poster sessions and discussions about the use of synchrotron techniques applied to agriculture and the environment.

The meeting will be preceded by the 2nd edition of AgroEnviro Workshop, a satellite event that aims to enable new or experienced users to develop impactful agricultural and environmental research projects that take advantage of the unique capabilities of the Sirius synchrotron. From April 12 to 13, 2021, AgroEnviro Workshop will offer tutorials and demonstrations for collecting and processing data obtained from the beamlines of the new Brazilian synchrotron light source.

The event will be hosted as a fully online meeting due to the COVID-19 pandemic via the Whova app.
