Instrumentation for high pressure experiments

MULTI-USER EQUIPMENT FUNDED BY FAPESP (2014/05480-3)

This project fits in with the strategy of developing state-of-the-art experimental stations on the UVX synchrotron light source. In particular, the ability to study any type of material (magnetic, superconducting, geological, biological, etc.) under extreme pressure, magnetic field, and temperature conditions with versatile instrumentation will be crucial to broadly foster material science research in LNLS synchrotron light sources (UVX and Sirius).

The scientific instruments available in the support laboratories of Sirius’ EMA beamline as a result of the FAPESP EMU 2014/05480-3 project are:

Access to these instrumentation by external users is made by submitting research proposals for the XDS and EMA beamlines through the SAU Online portal, according to the call for proposals of each beamline.
