Beamline Infrastructure

The Beamline Infrastructure group is responsible for designing and installing integrated infrastructure solutions for the synchrotron light source Sirius, at the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS).

The group’s activities include the design and installation of: metal hutches for radiation protection and isopanel rooms; mechanical utilities (process and cold water, compressed air, etc.); infrastructure for electrical, automation and control; precision air conditioning system; special gas distribution systems; liquid nitrogen distribution systems; laboratories and support rooms in general.

In addition, the group is responsible for supporting the operation of the beamlines and laboratories, in addition to technical facilities.
